SEREMBAN HALF MARATHON (12th July 2009)
|
On 12th July 2009, Forest Heights became one of the major sponsors for Seremban Half Marathon 2009.
Participants of the Seremban Half Marathon (SHM) 2009 once again be running a more scenic route that take them through Forest Heights in Seremban. The route through Forest Heights offer runners a change of scenery and a more enjoyable run. Besides the route, the company is contributing RM33,000 towards the SHM 2009 which would be spent on buying T-shirts and goodie bags. It is part and parcel Forest Heights Corporate Social Responsibility toward the state. SHM 2009 flagged by Tunku Naquiyuddin Tuanku Jaafar at the Negeri Sembilan Padang in Seremban.

3 ON 3 STREET BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT @ FOREST HEIGHTS (7th June 2009)

We thank and congratulate to all the participants 3 on 3 Street Basketball Tournament @ Forest Heights which was held on 7 June 2009.
In this event, open ceremony was officiated by Mr. Tung Kong Ming, Council Member of Majlis Perbandaran Seremban. There are 84 teams of players participated in this tournament. Everyone of them is energetic and well play in the games.
Another surprise from our company was new mascot called “Leafy”. Leafy was very famous and most of the youth like it during the event.
Closing ceremony and prize presentation was given by, Sunrise MCL Land Sdn Bhd Development Committee Mr. Raymond Cheah with a note of thanks and congratulations to all the winners.

SEREMBAN HALF MARATHON (24th August 2008)
On 24th August 2008, Forest Heights became one of the major sponsors for Seremban Half Marathon 2008.
Seremban Half Marathon held in conjunction with the 86th birthday of His Royal Highness Tuanku Ja’afar Ibni Almarhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman, Yang Di Pertuan Besar Negeri Sembilan Darul Khusus. It is part and parcel Forest Heights Corporate Social Responsibility toward the state. The Seremban Half Marathon is one of the state biggest sporting events organized yearly. The event have drawn crowd more than 10,000 in 2008 itself. The Seremban Half Marathon has taken the runners from far and near to enjoy the scenic sight and see for themselves along the new route through Forest Heights.

DEEPARAYA
OPEN HOUSE (12th November 2006)
The
Deepa-Raya Open House is held to celebrate the Double Festival
Celebration; The Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Deepavalee. The main
objective for this event is to appreciate our existing buyers and
registered prospects.
A
Children Coloring Contest and ‘Ketupat Games' have been held
during the Open House. Performance from Tadika Seri Suria and Tadika
Satria talented students also been performed to entertain the crowd.
Approximately 400 residents turn up for the Deeparaya Open House.
More than 100 children participate for the Coloring Contest.
The
Open house had been graced and officiated by Seremban Dato Zakaria
bin Nordin.

CRIME
PREVENTION DIALOGUE (8th October 2006)
|

The
project is organized by Lions Club of Seremban Central with support
from PDRM and Majlis Perbandaran Seremban. Jointly with Whistles
Fight Crimes campaign by Pemuda MCA Bahagian Seremban, Seremban Petty
Traders Association, Residents Association Forest Heights Phase I,
Resident Association Taman Seremban and Sunrise MCL Land Sdn. Bhd.
As a crime rate has been tremendously increasing in our community,
Sunrise MCL Land Sdn Bhd give support Lions Club to take a lead to
organize such event to benefit the residents of Seremban with
objective to create awareness of what public can do to protect them
as well as to create a safer neighborhood.

Approximately
80 residents turn up for the dialogue. Seremban Municipal Councillor
Mr Siow Koi Voon , Rahang Police Station Head Police Officer, Chief
Inspector Mohamad Ra’ayim bin Hj Jemakir gave the talk for the
Dialogue.

LANTERN
FESTIVAL NIGHT (10th September 2005 )

This festival organized by Sunrise MCL Land Sdn Bhd jointly with Chinese Assembly
Hall with the main objective to promote Chinese Cultural to the
public. Lantern is the main core decoration for the festival.
Lanterns usually come in various shapes like dragon, butterfly,
rabbit, carp and others. In keeping with the times battery operated
lanterns are also available, but they are not as popular as those lit
by the organizers come out with a few lantern contests designated for
children. Lantern Puzzle Contest, Beauty Lantern Competition and
Guest the Weight of “Big Moon Cake Contest had been organized
during the Lantern Festival Night. In Malaysia, the Chinese celebrate
the festival with family gatherings, prayers, mooncakes and lantern
parades by children. Weeks before the festival, Chinese families
present gifts of mooncakes to friends and senior relatives to foster
better ties with them.
Approximately
300 residents turn up for the event. The Contest organized had
received a very good response from the crowd.
